Careers with Paragon

I have been a pharmacist with the company since 1997. Paragon offers me the freedom to practice community based professional pharmacy. It’s all about being involved in your local community and making a difference to the people who live here. Paragon provided me with the opportunity to grow professionally with the company. I started as a staff Pharmacist at Black Mountain Pharmacy, then was promoted to Pharmacy Manager at Paragon Mission Centre Pharmacy in September 2003 when we opened a new clinical pharmacy in the growing Okanagan Mission community of Kelowna. I’m happy to be a part of the Paragon family and look forward to many more years with the company.

I began working for Paragon Pharmacies as a relief pharmacist in 2005. I was very impressed with the company's focus on professionalism and customer service. In 2006, Paragon opened a new store in Castlegar providing me with the opportunity to return to my hometown. I am now the Pharmacy Manager at Paragon Columbia Pharmacy, a thriving, professional, clinical dispensary. I am thrilled to be part of this vibrant young company and eagerly anticipate the further national growth of this banner.

Paragon was instrumental in helping me get through my schooling. In addition to the financial support, I knew that when I finished my education I would have a job that allowed me to practice pharmacy the way I wanted to.

I started working with Paragon Pharmacies in high school and have been employed with the company for more than 10 years. I started out as a part-time cashier and worked my way through school and numerous store positions. I am now a pharmacist, and Pharmacy Manager of our Glenmore store in Kelowna. I have seen Paragon grow from 2 stores to 24 stores, and I am excited to see what the future brings.
