Full Time Post Office Manager
Paragon Pharmacies is currently seeking a Full Time Post Office Manager for the Westbrook location of Super Drug Mart in Calgary.
Duties:
- Lead and manage post office operations
- Effectively supervise and manage post office staff
- Perform inventory and stock ordering
- Take care of daily post office operations including customer service and till operation
- Do reconciliation of daily sales and inventory
Skills:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous post office, management and sales experience preferred
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have good organization skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task in a sometimes stressful environment
Compensation commensurate with experience and skills. This position reports to Sonja Scharff, Regional Post Office Manager.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, professional pharmacist who is interested in leading an energetic pharmacy team. He or she will manage the operational and financial performance of the pharmacy and provide leadership and direction to ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance to Company policy and procedures, professional standards, provincial and federal regulations.
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently and safely.
- To lead and coach the pharmacy team in the implementation of professional and community based pharmacy.
- Manage workflow in the dispensary
- Manage the pharmaceutical inventory and pharmacy software system.
- Maintain file integrity of patient files and narcotics register.
- Various personnel duties including scheduling, performance reviews, training, coaching, recruitment and interviewing.
- Development and execution of short and long term business plans to grow the department’s revenue and profitability.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed by the Manitoba College of Pharmacists
- Minimum 3 years as a staff pharmacist
- Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of pharmacy software systems
- Encourages and fosters team development
